Crop Art

  • Folk School Warroad 319 Lake St NE Warroad United States (map)

Try something a little different and get hands-on with Minnesota’s favorite fair tradition, taught by Marta Shore, MN State Fair Crop Art Grand Champion.

This two-hour Crop Art class is a fun introduction where you’ll create your first piece using simple templates inspired by local themes. Along the way, you’ll hear about the history and spirit of crop art, along with a few stories that bring it to life. Everyone will leave with a take-home kit filled with grains, seeds, and supplies so you can keep creating on your own.

Open to ages 8 and up with an adult present, or 13 and up on your own.

Classes will be held June 4 at 6 p.m. at Folk School Warroad and June 5 at 10 a.m. at Badger Community Center. Free to attend, but pre-registration is required to hold your spot
