Manx quilting is a traditional hand-sewing technique of making a log cabin block. Originating from the Isle of Man (c. 1820-1850), often called the "roof pattern", is a form of folded patchwork, traditionally using red centers to represent the hearth and folded strips for texture.
If you enjoy hand work and love having a hand project you can carry anywhere, this method is for you. Everything will be provided and enough fabric to take home and continue making blocks. Open to ages 12 and up.
