Participants will learn:

· Basic fiber preparation

· How to draft and spin wool on a spindle

· How twist forms yarn

· An overview of plying and finishing

· Tips for practicing at home

No prior spinning experience is required. This class is designed for complete beginners as well as those looking to refresh foundational skills. By the end of the session, students will understand the fundamentals of spindle spinning and leave with their own handspun yarn sample.
